Presenter: Joseph Bailey

 

Topic: Creating a Business of Your Own

 

Description: Joseph will give an interactive presentation covering the following topics:

 1) Head or heart? We will discuss the strengths and weaknesses of building a business organically with a laissez faire approach or through a structured business plan approach.

2) Designing a business plan and finding the resources to help with the process.

3) Developing your clientele and business diversification.

 

Bio: Joseph Bailey has been a coach, trainer, consultant, and facilitator for over 30 years. He was trained at the Coaches Training Institute and is a Certified Professional Facilitator through the International Association of Facilitators.  As an instructor at Linn-Benton Community College's Business and Employer Services, he works with a variety of types and sizes of businesses. Joseph has owned an independent consulting company since leaving graduate school in 1984 and ran a successful photography business for many years.  His coaching niches are: working with organizational leadership in relationship development and communication; supervision development; executive leaders transitioning (new organizations, retirement); moving from dreams to running a business.
