Topic: Building Your Business via eMarketing
Description: To be competitive in today's economy, professional coaches must leverage the Internet to help market their business. In his presentation, Kent Lewis will outline effective electronic marketing strategies and tactics including website development, search engine marketing (search engine optimization, pay-per-click and link development), social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.), email marketing and Web analytics. After this two hour presentation, you will understand fundmental emarketing tools and techniques you can use to build your coaching business online.
Bio: As President of Anvil Media, Inc., Kent Lewis is responsible for managing operations, marketing and business development activities. He is also founder and acting President of Formic Media, a search engine marketing agency focusing on the small business market. Past and present clients include Greg Hansen, Lyle Hubbard and Robin Ryan. Lewis is also co-founder and former President of SEMpdx, a trade organization for SEM professionals based in Portland, Oregon. In 2001, Lewis created pdxMindShare an online career community and Portland-area networking event. He is also an adjunct professor at Portland State University, where he teaches eMarketing and SEM workshops.
